Haniff M. Jackson
Vice President of Finance

As Vice President, Haniff’s responsibilities include managing the firm’s capital resources and relationships, as well as overseeing all of Dawson’s deal related due diligence, underwriting, and financial analysis.

Haniff began his career as an investment banker at Salomon Smith Barney, and has a combination over fifteen years of experience in financial services in a variety of roles and responsibilities.

Prior to Dawson, Haniff was an operating principal at Red Clay Capital Holdings, LLC, where he was General Manager and CFO for its Nashville based portfolio company. Prior to Red Clay, Haniff was a Vice President at Global Asset Alternatives, LLC, where he was primarily responsible for the acquisition of value-add multi-family properties. Additionally, Haniff has worked for Cherokee Investment Partners, a North Carolina based real estate private equity firm, where he had the opportunity to spend a part of his summer working in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with local NGO’s and international missionaries.

Haniff has Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Morehouse College, where he graduated with honors, and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
